I am currently am a highlighted blonde, but I don’t think the color does anything for my skin tone.I am fair with redish undertones, blue eyes, 37yrs, natural color is a level 5. I like this color, how would I tell my hair stylist to go from blonde to brunette. Also, do you know of any great colorist in the St.Louis area. I love your show.

Before going back to a natural hair color consider adding some level six lowlights. This will help blend the root of your hair and soften the line of regrowth as your hair grows out. It will also help extend the time in between salon visits. If you decide that you want to go back to your natural color, it will need to be done professionally in two separate steps. The first will be the filler which will add gold pigment back to the hair which has been stripped out over time by the bleaching process. The second step will be the color brunette that you choose and I recommend using a demi-permanent color for both of these processes. Color Touch by Wella is a great product, so try to find a salon that carries it.
