Eva, I’m almost 50 and have just recently seen a huge difference in my facial skin, dryness and wrinkles, enlarged pores. I have always looked young for my age and have oily no longer excess oily skin. I was wondering what skin care line you would recommend for face neck and chest. I’ve been using Olay X but am considering Murad Resurgence? What are your thoughts.

Hi Karen,
I really love the YonKa skin care line: http://www.evasbeautystore.com/index.php/skin-care/yon-ka
It’s a French line that has been around for over 100 years, and is aromatherapy-based. We have carried this in my salon for about 8 years, and perform nearly all of our facials with it. If you would have questions about specific products in this line, please let me know. I also like Dr. Murad’s skin care. He was a guest on my radion show recently.

Eva,
I have curly hair that is dry, thick, and coarse as well as frizzy. Can you recommend shampoo, conditioning, and finishing products to use?

Christine,
Try the Oleo Relax Shampoo by Kerastase. It will help to smooth the frizz and is very moisturizing. Oleo Relax Slim conditioner and leave-in styling product are also great. Both help to smooth the cuticle, making the hair look less coarse and making it easier to blow dry your hair.

Hi, My question is about curly hair. I first read the book Curly Girls, which says throw away your blowers, shampoos, etc.and I tried this which worked pretty well.
Then someone gave me Ouidad’s book for curly hair, which is entirely different. Shampoo, blow dry, etc.
My dilema, I went to a Ouidad hairstylist in Phoenix, and the cut is wonderful, if a bit expensive. Can I continue having him cut my hair but use the Curly Girl system. Do you agree with not shampooing, only using conditioner, and small product, and letting har air dry?
Thank you, Gail
